The Writers' Room

What is it?

The Writers' Room is a monthly session dedicated to developing new work and improving as writers.

Each session we will meet and help support each others projects, share work and offer feedback, as well as doing some short writing exercises and discussing tips and tricks for improving.

Come along with a project you want to share with the group, a scene you’ve just written for fun or just to get some inspiration and get to know other writers!

We will be holding sessions 7-10pm on the

2nd Monday of every month at Longfield Hall in Camberwell.

£10 per session

please sign up at least 48hrs before the session.

Who is it for?

The Writers Room is a place for new and emerging writers to come together and develop, both community and as writers.

It can be lonely writing by yourself, and immeasurably helpful to get fresh eyes on a piece of writing as you are developing it- so this is a space for people to get opinions from other writers, and to make connections at the same time!

Writing exercises

We will kick of the session with some brief writing exercises, before feeding back to the group.

Share work

We split off into groups and share pages we have developed. Each group will give feedback on each writers work.

Discuss

We will all come together to discuss any topics that have come up within our small group work.
